So I don’t throw around the word “perfect” but this album is that. It’s not quite rock, and it’s not quite metal, but what is here are four musicians of insane talent at the peak of their game.

Jakub Zytecki is one of the best guitarists of this century and his work is front and center here. From the opening track you can feel the passion and talent he has for guitar and melody. And he doesn’t let up!

The vocals perfectly complement the music and add their own layer to the already stellar song writing. And the drums. The DRUMS. They are just as much of the song as the melody and are technical yet storytelling at the same time. Essential part of the song!

Personal favorite tracks are “Touching the Golden Cloud”, “Message From Atlantis”, and “AUM”. But really, the whole albums is a triumph. Not a single bad track anywhere.

As I was trusted with this, I tried to do my best to make it a cohesive experience for the listener. In that spirit, I felt it was a great listen on 3 sides - each side contains a good amount of music and you’re not getting up every 10 minutes to flip sides.

I’m incredibly grateful to Season of Mist for the opportunity to make this album a reality and to the entire band for creating this masterpiece. Give it a listen here: https://disperseband.bandcamp.com/album/living-mirrors. It does well with multiple listens! I’m still discovering things about it years after I first heard it.
