For the first time ever on vinyl, Ghost Mutt Records is extremely proud to present Overlooked by Caroline's Spine on vinyl! This was one of those "no freaking way" projects I got lucky with. Taking a shot in the dark, I emailed the band's webpage to see if they'd be interested in working on a vinyl release for Overlooked as Sullivan and Attention Please are still locked behind Disney's vaults. Jimmy Newquist, the main driving force behind the band, emailed me back and we quickly got to work! Band buffs will notice that the cover is different than the CD release - Jimmy never was fully happy with that art and this vinyl release gave him the opportunity to come up with something more aligned with his vision. We both brainstormed and I happened to find the original image and texted him "too literal?" and it all went from there! Probably my second-favorite album from the band and I couldn't be happier to bring it to vinyl! At times these songs are anthemic & powerful, and others he taps into his softer side. If you like Black Lab, you'll be right at home here.
