When I had heard that Black Lab was dropped by Sony, after YBAM, I was GUTTED. That album changed me and I mourned thigns. I remember trolling Napaster and Kazaa for Black Lab mp3s just to find more of Paul's music because I needed more. Years later, I heard that he actually put out a new album and I RAN to buy it. "See The Sun" is Black Lab's second album and feels like an evolution from YBAM. The writing is more urgent and you can tell that the downtime was spent honing his craft. Tracks like "Remember" and "Circus Lights" have that emotional depth and melodic hook and so much depth to discover. I'm beyond honored to have brought this album to vinyl.
